Mom Florence Osbourne holds her little bundle of joy, the first baby born for the year at Victoria Jubilee Hospital.
THE first babies born on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day in local hospitals are usually in for a treat, and this year was no different.
For the third year, the 19 clubs of Kiwanis Division 23 came together to bring Christmas cheer to mothers at Victoria Jubilee. Thanks to an initiative by the club and Lullabye diapers, all mothers of babies born at Victoria Jubilee on December 25 received care packages. The initiative falls under the Kiwanis International’s Young Children Priority One programme, which addresses the needs of children 0-5 years old.
Photographer Garfield Robinson was at Victoria Jubilee and Spanish Town hospitals to share in the happy occasions.
